Top reasons why this summer will rock :)

I am wishing now I had taken spring/summer terms, but it's okay. I definitely will next year. But things are going great, in fact....

1. I got hired as a music teacher
2. I will continue assistant teaching at another venue
3. I might get to apply to be a substitute teacher
4. My private violin studio is already forming (woot woot!)
5. I'm starting the Ysaye Ballade!
6. I got back into running, and I'm doing a 5K on Saturday
7. I get to house-sit for one of my best friends and her family --- which means I get a car for a few days!
8. I'm flying out to Colorado for RHSMUN summer staff, and it's free for me b/c the IMUNA board pays for it!
9. Sundae Sundays at with Liz, Alex, Anthony, Robert, Joanna, and the rest of the crew.
10. I'm a senior at BYU. That really doesn't have a lot to do with summer, but I'm pretty happy about it anyways.
11. I got accepted into the violin performance program. Ditto for above.
12. I was chosen as a Y Group Leader for NSO at BYU.
13. I was hired to write a radio ad. Nervous? A bit :D
14. New blog!

Top Reasons Why This Blog Has Been Neglected

1. Of the 6 authors involved, 5 of us are going to college, and one is on a mission.
2. There aren't enough authors involved. *hint hint
3. We haven't been rating things according to how great they've been, but rather struggling to survive and find our niche.
4. Did we forget about it?
5. Did I mention that 5 of us are going to college?

Reasons why I love my freaking life!

These are in no particular order, but here they are anyways!

-Today, HEPE 129 got cancelled - I used the time to do homework and take a nap
-I had a peach with my lunch
-I found out my PSYCH 301 class got cancelled tomorrow, freeing up 2 hours
-I got 20 hours of sleep this weekend
-We had string sectional in Symphony today, but Eric never showed up, Lev was nowhere to be found, and Kory told Sister Bigelow to just excuse us, since we really had no direction/assignments. I practiced during that baffling half hour though :)
-Sini reminded me that Monte's not teaching lessons this week, which means...
-Possibly no master class tomorrow, which means....
-I can possibly go up and help out w/ one of Jim's groups after Northridge (or maybe not go to Northridge? We'll see)
-Jim might call tonight
-I'm almost caught up in my classes
-I got a chance to play my guitar
-I get to make some music with Jim and Jay
-It is perfect weather right now


One reason though that ISN'T happy is that my right wrist is weak again - see, I went and lifted weights on Saturday (ooooh the weight room is my other home, I have missed it so much!) and I decided to bench. I was only doing half my weight, for crying out loud! My wrists, which had been feeling SO good and SO strong lately (esp. with new technique, thanks to Monte) gave out and they hurt, esp. my right one. Benching wasn't so smart I guess :)

Top reasons I'm so excited to come home!!!!

* I'll get to see my family
* I won't have to live in a dorm anymore
* The sprinkler won't wake me up at 1:00 and 3:00 every morning now
* I'll get to play with FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!
* I'll get to go running everyday!
* I'll get to go swimming (maybe get rid of my bad farmer tan)
* I'll play with the dog
* I'll get to play with my brother
* I'll get to work
* I won't have to see a million couples everyday
* I won't be too busy to talk to and email friends
* I will write more blogs
* I'll have my bed, my teddy bear, my bathroom, my food, mine, mine, mine! (Yah I'm a selfish being)
* I won't have to label my stuff anymore (especially my food)
* I won't have to ration out my peanut butter, milk, bread, and eggs
* I won't have to avoid people who want to play all the time (because I won't have homework)
* I'll get to see my niece Ella
* Thomas and I will have our daily beat each other up sessions (Thomas is my little bro)
* I won't have to walk to the store anymore
* I will be in Utah and loving it :D :D :D :D
* I'll get to go on a 50 miler with my brothers and my dad :)
* I'll be able to be outside all the time
* I won't have to go to a college ward anymore :)

Man I miss you guys! :( Can you tell I'm so so so so so so excited to come home. If you can't tell then I'm telling you now, I'm so so so so so so excited to come home. (4 more sleeps woot, woot)

Free lunch for me almost every day (and getting to try new restaurants every time! hehe)
